The Club Tentation® : an original organisation
The Tentation® apple enjoys a selective distribution system deployed by Club Tentation®. A scalable and open structure that is both national and international ; the Club is a non-profit making organisation joining all of its associates, bound by a system of licences and contracts, but also adhering to a common sales strategy.
The Club Tentation® joins in a single association :
The production, packaging and distribution of Tentation® apples is a rigorous process, unrolled according to stringent specifications privileging the quality of the fruit. Producers and marketers that adhere to the Tentation® approach have therefore committed to respecting the principles issued by the Club : planting, farming techniques, harvesting at a specific stage, storage and packaging conditions.
In order to meet customer expectation in terms of quality, and those of the market in terms of quantity, the Club Tentation® has also scheduled the planting of additional trees and therefore an increase in amounts of fruit brought to the market. Sales are handled only by major stakeholders, in limited numbers, in order to concentrate the amount of fruit available and to guarantee homogenous quality and presentation.
Created in France, the Club rapidly opened up to producers and marketers worldwide : Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, UK, Italy.
During the off-season, Club Tentation® relies on a group of New Zealand producers who are members of the New Zealand Club Tentation® to provide consumers with fruit outside of the European production period, between June and September.
